The app also provides the possibility to share the best places to see Northern Lights. Each shared location shows information about the level of light pollution, access difficulty, navigation via 3rd party apps, location photo and description.

How to share the new place with other hunters? You just found a new great spot for Aurora viewing.

1. Take a photo of the northern view.

2. Open the Lumyros app and open the interactive map, click on places, and click on the button "Add Location".

3. Upload the photo you just took.

4. Describe how it looks there, how to get there, why is this place great for Aurora viewing and any additional information you think might be important.

5. Select how difficult it is to get there and how much light pollution is around you.

6. Click "Submit".

The app will add the new place to the interactive map and the social feed. Please Note: When adding a new location, do that, when you are actually there as when you hit the "Submit" button your current GPS location will be applied to the new place. This is to ensure that you are sharing a place you have actually been.
