Part of the basic knowledge is where to find the Northern Lights in the sky and how they look in reality compared to what you can see in the photos spread all over the internet. 

You will find out the different shapes and colours of the Northern Lights and how the Moon influences the visibility of the Northern Lights. The last two videos in this section will explain how far can the Northern Lights be visible and what should know every Aurora hunter.
